Yip you read right…this is the last newsletter I will be sending out for 2014. I’m almost in shock that we have a few more sleeps and then it’s the last month of the year. Wow this year has been good and quick and a blur!

December is my fullest time of year in the salon and I’d like to ask that those of you who have made appointments for December to please be on time. Most days I’m back to back booked with treatments so I haven’t been able to add an extra few min to most appointments, this has given me the opportunity to make sure I can help as many people as I can before I close on Friday 19 December. I will try my best to make sure I run on time too but if you late for an appointment it will be cut short to allow my day not to run late and upset those who will come on time J I thank you in advance for this.

I’ve been brushing up on my Annique Rooibos Tea knowledge and would like to share some of it with you:

The Annique Rooibos Tea is one of the best quality Rooibos Teas in South Africa. Its contains up to 80% leaf and 20% twig/stick. This means that the quantity of Anti-oxidants are of maximum amount and the benefits of our Rooibos tea are far more effective and improved. The Annique Rooibos Teas contain no additives, preservatives or colorants. It’s also Caffeine Free and is a perfect low calorie drink to boost energy and  your immune system. It’s also low in tannin which helps increase iron and protein absorption in the body

Drinking a maximum of 6 cups a day benefits:

  • reduce the signs of Aging
  • lowers the risk of heart disease
  • helps control diabetes
  • fights allergies
  • soothes stomach cramps and colic
  • lowers blood pressure

We have a normal Rooibos Tea which is R49 a box of 80 teabags. Each tea bag makes a strong 500ml tea pot (2cups)

Our Green Rooibos tea is also a must as it contains up to 100x more anti-oxidants then normal rooibos tea. Its naturally sweet and easy to consume(different to Green tea you see in the shops as its Green Rooibos Tea). This is a must and forever have for every household, as it’s great for stomach cramps and spasm, skin conditions, heartburn, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, boosts immune system and massively slows down the aging process in the body.

We also have a variety of herbal teas that help soothe and support certain conditions in the body:

  • Stomach tea: contains mint to relive stomach cramps, ailments, indigestion and is a wonderful remedy for headaches. Also helps relieve menstrual cramps.

  • Metabolism Tea: Combined with Fennel to stimulate the metabolism and suppress the appetite and desire for sweet foods. Improves eyesight, relaxes intestines so aids with irritable bowel syndrome sufferers. An effective diuretic and aids in reducing water retention, and can be used to treat hypertension(high Blood pressure)
