I hope this email finds you well? Only 3 months left of 2014, can you believe it!
I’m so loving this warm weather and the fact it’s getting a little darker later in the evenings.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with me getting a new wax in the salon. It’s been a little strange learning the technique of a new wax, but I feel more confident as time goes by. As most of you know I’ve been having stock issues over the last few months, and decided to bite the bullet and change suppliers. So I’m now using a film wax (honey colour) for the Bikini, underarm and face waxing. It’s a more gentle, less painful wax and removes fine hair thus being great for bikini and underarm areas. I’m also using a similar wax as before for the more pain sensitive Brazilian wax clients. This wax contains rooibos and bush extract for a more calming and less painful wax. I’ve now been using if for a month and I’m much happier, and have had positive feedback too.
Then as I mentioned last month, December is fast approaching and I’m already nearly fully booked for my last week (15-19 December). Please if you have not booked, stop thinking about it and book 🙂 as I don’t want to have to turn people away.
Then I have some bad news. I’m really taking strain when doing massaging and I’ve decided that from January 2015 I will no longer be offering any massaging in the salon. So my back and neck massaging will no longer be available as a treatment. I’m so grateful for the business and positive comments on my massaging but my wrists and thumbs are starting with joint pain and I don’t want to risk getting carpal tunnel syndrome and making it worse.
My working times will also be changing from January 2015 and over the next month I will be working out my roster for January.
