Good day Beauty Spotters,
For the first time in I don’t know how many years I’m not really excited about June… normally I am, it’s my birthday month, so I’m always busy planning something for the friends and family. This year I’m starting to realize I’m getting older and so not so excited about the next month to come. Maybe that will change 😉
Anyway I hope you are ready for June as winter is here and although we’ve had pretty good weather up until now, I know it won’t last much longer.
Ro’s Jewellery collection started in May, and I’d love to thank you for your support in making it another success at Ro’s Beauty Spot. I’ve already planned my next order so should be here mid-end June, with more colours and styles for you to choose from. I really hope those that have purchased a bracelet… or 2 are loving them and receiving plenty of compliments on them.
If you wish to join my Facebook page regarding the jewellery please follow this link – Ro’s Jewellery Collection FACEBOOK. I will be adding new pictures, have giveaways, and ask for recommendations on new products.
Some Winter Advice
So we all know winter is a harsh and stressful time, especially on our bodies.
I hope that you have all increased your vitamin C and Zinc intake to help fight infections. And that you are applying your moisturiser more often, up to 5 times a day, to keep your skin hydrated, nourished and protected against the harsh dry air and cold weather. And last but not least drinking plenty of Rooibos tea to help remove toxins, fight free radicals and keep you hydrated from inside. Rooibos tea also helps fight infections so can help build up your resistance to colds and flu. Drink up to 6 cups a day to stay healthy.
Also winter is a great time to give your feet a chance to repair and give them extra nourishment after being in open shoes all summer. Some GREAT tips for winter feet care:
- Remove all polish and give toe nails a good buff
- Cut and keep nails short to prevent damage to the nail and ridges from closed shoes
- Feed and nourish the cuticles with cuticle oil
- Scrub feet twice a week to remove dead skin build up, from being in closed shoes, and increase
blood flow to the feet, helping them stay warm during the cold - Apply a good heel balm and even tissue oil to the feet twice a day to nourish and feed them
- Foot file weekly to help remove any hard skin build up
