Good day Beauty Spotters

12 January 2015 the salon will reopen for business so I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy 2015. May it be a good year to you. I hope for those that took some vacation time that you had a wonderful holiday or if you were at home over the festive season that it too was restful and good. And for those that worked, I hope it went quickly, smoothly and when you get your time off I will be jealous. 😉

So to start the year off I just wanted to remind you that I will no longer be doing any massages in the salon. I hope that I will still see those who only did massages with me for other treatments. I look forward to still having you in my salon.

I have added my amended treatment Menu for January so please make sure you view it. From 1 February 2015 I will be offering a new treatment menu with some adjustments and new pricing.

This next week is a bit of a busy week so I will be working extended hours, but from Monday 2 February I will be working my normal hours so please be sure to view my treatment menu for that.

From 26 January 2015 I will now be offering Treatments in Alberton from my home, but only on my Tuesday and Saturdays that I’m not working in Benoni. So if you feel Alberton will be closer for you or you have friends or family living/working there and would like to refer them to me I will organise a pricelist for you. Please just note that I will only be doing waxing and Annique Facials and selling Annique Products from my Alberton Salon.

I will be doing client card updates and new skin analysis treatments for your first appointments in January. Just so I can update everyone’s information and keep track of your skincare and body needs with regards to Annique. So if any details have changed please remember to bring them so I can update them.

  • For every R250 you spend I will note on your loyalty card(date of purchase and amount) when you collect or I deliver your products(so Please make sure they handy and ready).

E.G. If you spend R500 in one order you will have 2 blocks filled in, but if you spend R680 you will still only have 2 blocks filled in. The blocks will be filled in on denominations of R250.

  • If your order does not come to the first amount of R250 it will be collective on your next order and then 1 block will be filled in. But only on your first R250 with it be collective.
  • Then on your 10th purchase/order you will receive a R100 discount 

 

So from January 2015 I will no longer be giving individual discounts on orders they will be accumulated and discounted at the end.

Yip you read right…this is the last newsletter I will be sending out for 2014. I’m almost in shock that we have a few more sleeps and then it’s the last month of the year. Wow this year has been good and quick and a blur!

December is my fullest time of year in the salon and I’d like to ask that those of you who have made appointments for December to please be on time. Most days I’m back to back booked with treatments so I haven’t been able to add an extra few min to most appointments, this has given me the opportunity to make sure I can help as many people as I can before I close on Friday 19 December. I will try my best to make sure I run on time too but if you late for an appointment it will be cut short to allow my day not to run late and upset those who will come on time J I thank you in advance for this.

Please note that I am NOW FULLY BOOKED for December and will not be taking any more bookings. The best I can offer you is a cancellation slot and inform if a time slot opens for you. I’m super grateful and I thank everyone who has made my year amazing and successful, I wouldn’t be where I am without your help and support.

I’ve been brushing up on my Annique Rooibos Tea knowledge and would like to share some of it with you:

The Annique Rooibos Tea is one of the best quality Rooibos Teas in South Africa. Its contains up to 80% leaf and 20% twig/stick. We also have a variety of herbal teas that help soothe and support certain conditions in the body:

An effective diuretic and aids in reducing water retention, and can be used to treat hypertension(high Blood pressure)

How wonderful is this rain we having.  Now summer can truly begin. Wow so 2 months left of 2014, hope you’ve started to plan Christmas Shopping and your holiday plans are done.

Ro’s Beauty Spot October 2014 News….VERY Important

I hope this email finds you well? Only 3 months left of 2014, can you believe it!

I’m so loving this warm weather and the fact it’s getting a little darker later in the evenings.

 

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with me getting a new wax in the salon. It’s been a little strange learning the technique of a new wax, but I feel more confident as time goes by. As most of you know I’ve been having stock issues over the last few months, and decided to bite the bullet and change suppliers. So I’m now using a film wax (honey colour) for the Bikini, underarm and face waxing. It’s a more gentle, less painful wax and removes fine hair thus being great for bikini and underarm areas. I’m also using a similar wax as before for the more pain sensitive Brazilian wax clients. This wax contains rooibos and bush extract for a more calming and less painful wax. I’ve now been using if for a month and I’m much happier, and have had positive feedback too.

Then as I mentioned last month, December is fast approaching and I’m already nearly fully booked for my last week (15-19 December). Please if you have not booked, stop thinking about it  and book 🙂 as I don’t want to have to turn people away.

Then I have some bad news. I’m really taking strain when doing massaging and I’ve decided that from January 2015 I will no longer be offering any massaging in the salon. So my back and neck massaging will no longer be available as a treatment. I’m so grateful for the business and positive comments on my massaging but my wrists and thumbs are starting with joint pain and I don’t want to risk getting carpal tunnel syndrome and making it worse.

My working times will also be changing from January 2015 and over the next month I will be working out my roster for January.

Hope you’ve had a wonderful Spring Day? Hopefully the very cold is now behind us and we can start with Spring.

A big welcome to all the new clients I had this month, I hope you enjoyed being in my salon and that I will be seeing you again.

Have some very important news so please take note:

There are 15 Saturdays until I close in December for my annual Leave on FRIDAY 19 December, of which 10 are working Saturdays. I am already taking appointments for my regular clientele on these Saturdays, as I don’t help new customers on Saturdays. Please make sure that you start  thinking about your December appointment so that I have you in a slot for now. I can always try move or swop appointments but I can’t create space.

This means that there is 15 weeks of business at Ro’s Beauty Spot….I can’t believe it. So don’t miss out on an appointment, let’s get booking.

Then I’m taking a few days leave in September and thus September is already getting busy. I have very few if any afternoon appointments left. Please if you need an appointment try book in advance to avoid disappointment and frustration.

The salon will be closed from Sunday 21 September and will reopen Monday 29 September.

So we into the last stretch of winter…woohoo. But I’m sure this lovely, beautiful weather will not be here to stay. So its Women’s Month and soon spring will be in the air, so now’s the time to start exercising and coming out of hibernation, I know I’m terrible in winter. But I can already see the change in the sky colour and the time of daylight seems to be getting a little longer every week. I’d like to wish all my Ladies a special and Happy Women’s Month.

Don’t forget my Pedicures (women ONLY) are R160 for a full 60 min treatment including paraffin wax. A mini Pedi (all the essentials) is R90. I also do a gel pedicure with Paraffin wax For R250.
