So once again the month is nearly over and I’m still so positive about the year…I believe it’s going to be a good year.

How are you and I hope your week is going great?

My salon email this month won’t be long but it’s quite important!

With all the public holidays coming up over the next 2 months and I’m taking some leave the salon will operate on slightly different hours. So please take note:

Then my last Salon treatment price increase was done in November 2012, and so I’m afraid it’s that time again. As of 1 April 2014 my treatment prices will increase between 10-12% will send out the new treatment pricelist as soon as I have compiled it.

Ro’s Beauty Spot Annique March 2014 Specials

Hey beauty spotters

I trust February was truly a month for Love! It was an exceptional month for Annique Sales in the Salon, so thank you for all those that supported me, and tried something new -I hope you are happy with the fantastic quality and effects of Annique.

I’m super excited to announce that the Normal Annual Price increase for Annique Products will ONLY take effect FROM 1 June 2014…and Not the normal 1 April 2014. This is super fantastic news, but please be warned that come 1 June 2014, most products will increase on average 8%.

As soon as I have received the new price list I will let everyone know.

In the meantime we can still enjoy the great quality of the product at the best price possible.

So as the year unfolds the specials continue to follow up suit….March will be a great time to stock up on Night creams and some treatment products.

The night creams from the Lucid and Hydrafine ranges come with the Masque of that Range for Free.

It’s always important to remember the difference between Day and Night creams: the biggest difference is that a day cream allows for more hydration to the skin (so the drinking water effect) whereas a night cream feeds and restores the skin, similar to us sleeping-we need the sleep to recover from the day.

Night creams are generally a lot more shiny and have more of an oily feel to them, this offers our skin a protection barrier to keep moisture in and allow slip while we sleeping-we don’t want our skins sticking to the pillow case.

Now with the masques for free this March it’s a great introduction to a treatment product that helps minimize aging, offers more anti-oxidants to the skin, refines pores and helps create an even skin tone. Masquing is often a more enjoyable treatment then exfoliating and is better for the skin in a lot of ways(instant product absorption if you choose to apply a treatment under, less stretching and pulling of the skin so minimizes aging)

A great time apply your masque is in the shower or bath…while your conditioner is on your hair and your washing. It offer a good 5 min of treatment and no fuss in washing off.

Annique Specials and Promotions for February 2014

Hello everyone

Wow I can’t believe how quickly this year has begun. It’s amazing that we’ve had such good weather…although I wish I could spend more time in the pool during the peak hours of the day! 🙂 Never the less I’m so positive and excited for this year that I’m sad it’s going by so quickly. I’m super blessed with such special clients…I don’t even like using that word as I feel you are all more that.. that you are my friends. thank you for your support and loyalty as always its much appreciated.

January has been a great month and I hope it’s been good to you too? For those that have just started using Annique, welcome to my little family. I really hope you are falling in love with Annique and enjoying the quality of a great product feeding and improving your skin and body. I also hope its surprised you a little and given you something to be excited about. I’d love to get some feedback from those that tried something new this January…. Your comments are always welcome.

February is great month to show our love for others and enjoy the sharing of specials moments with friends. I think it’s also a good time to get going on the goals for the year, to settling in to the attitude and wavelength that can carry us for the year. I’m settling into a positive, driven attitude and believe this year will be great.

Then like I mentioned last month…I’m also going to add some of the most exciting and popular product specials into the email.

January was all about the new and first step into the year. Cleansing is always important in our skin care routines, but so is moisturising. Using a day cream provides hydration to the skin(just like we fluids to hydrate our bodies) so using a moisturiser does the same for our skins. What I love about Annique’s Day creams…is the fact that I can apply it as often as I like during the day, so that I can make sure my skin is kept hydrated and looking fabulous. Yes it does absorb through your foundation as application is done by pressing the cream into the skin in areas of dehydration. But foundation can too be reapplied too.image003 image002

I’ve decided to do things a little differently this year, and separate the Annique email from my newsletter, so you be receiving a separate newsletter for the salon, If you are a client there. And if you are only an Annique user then you will receive only the Annique email, which I will try and pack as much info in as small amount of reading time as I possibly can.

But please note that if you would like any of the specials advertised in the Beauté, then I need to be informed of your order by no later than 25 January. It takes 3 days for me to get stock and head office don’t take any more orders for the specials on the month after the 26th of the month.

Good day Beauty Spotters

I hope you are well and that you haven’t been washed away with all the rain we getting?

This is just a quick email to say hello and to send you some important info. I know everyone is really hectic this time of year.

Ro’s Beauty Spot is now officially Fully booked until I close on Friday 20 December. The best I can offer anyone looking for an appointment is a cancellation list spot and if anything comes available I will let you know.
The salon will Re-open on Monday 13 January 2014, I am already taking appointments, but I’m afraid my afternoons until the first week of February have already been booked for my regular clients.
I will be going digital next year so please make sure I have an active email address as I will be sending appointment reminders via email.

Then on a serious note: I’m sorry to be a little real but I feel that with the great relationship I have with all my clients, I want to be honest and transparent to you about my business and within my business. During the 2013 period Ro’s Beauty spot lost revenue of close to R9500, due to same day cancellations, no shows or same day changing of appointments. It’s really hard to fit someone in last min or move people around on the same day, I feel it’s not fair to my other clients. I also am very busy and can help only so many but when clients don’t show up or cancel for the same day it’s very hard to fill that spot, whereas I could do the day before.
I totally understand that life happens and that things happen that are out of our control, but at the same time I’m also trying to run a successful business. So from January 2014 I will be enforcing the 24 hour cancellation-50%of treatment fee. I will also be charging full price for late appointments, extras or no shows(on next appointment).
I feel this is fair to my business and I really hope that you can understand my view and that this will take us to new heights at Ro’s Beauty Spot.

Beauty Spot Newsletter November 2013

Hey everyone

I can’t believe how blessed I’ve been this year, yes not all my dreams came true this year, but I’m so grateful to have an amazing job that I love very much, and special, supportive clients, who have made my business so GREAT and successful. Thank you so much.

October was yet another great month for new clients, I welcome each and everyone one of you, and I hope you will be happy with me and that I will continue to see you in the future.

I had a lot of support for the Annique ResQue Crème Upsize that Annique Contributed R5 for Every Product sold to the Look Good Feel Great Foundation. I sold 10, so thank you for the support.

Then I also a few ladies who were keen to do something different with their nails, to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month…

Some Product Information

Sculpture Colours are now R45 so don’t miss out on buying some fabulous colours for summer, I have a catalogue and that you can order from, they have over 150 colours so Please don’t be shy to ask to view the catalogue. These can make for great stocking fillers for Christmas.

Top and Base Coats are now R50, these are great treatment products, that help your polish last longer, and feed your nails.

I use the Depiléve Wax system for legs and arm waxing and have brought back for summer their Intimate Folisan – a roll on gel that works wonders with ingrown hairs in the bikini and under arm area.

I have received great comments and happy results.

The 10ml roll-on gel is R60 and needs only to be used until the hairs have started to push through the skin (roughly 10 days). As soon as the hair has appeared through the skin, stop usage until after your next wax.

Please enquire about the product when you visit.

I am running an Annique Christmas Competition, and for every R200 spent in November 2013 and up to Monday 9 December 2013, your name will be entered into the Draw to win a Hamper with Annique Goodies to spoil yourself with.

Yes it’s that time of the month again…news and specials update. September was an amazing month in the Salon, glad to see everyone is ready for summer…Plenty of Pedicures and waxing were done. J

As I’m sure you are aware October is Breast Cancer Awareness month…so let’s try paint the town pink…if you are having a pedicure or manicure…lets add something pink to it..to show our support.

During the month of October, Annique will be supporting breast cancer awareness by donating R5 from every Annique Resque Crème Upsize 100ml sold, to the Look Good…Feel Better Foundation programme, directed by the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association of South Africa (CTFA). LGFB provides free beauty workshops through a network of hospitals, oncology clinics and homes assisting women with cancer to manage appearance related side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, restoring their appearance and self-image. Do your bit in awareness of cancer and support this worthy cause this month by buying Resque Creme Upsize 100ml! I have not as yet received the PDF of the new pricelist but as soon as I do I will send it out. Some products have remained the same, some have increased R5-R10 on average.

In September I mentioned that I will be closing on Friday 20 December 2013 for the year… I have 4×1 hour appointments left for that week…so don’t forget to book (appointments For December will only be booked for clients who have been 3 or more times this year)

Yay, so it’s officially… only a few more sleeps until spring. Not sure if the weather is quite representative of this but I’m definitely going to be more Springful come Monday….

I hope you are well, healthy and happy? Please remember that I’m also here to chat, support and listen to you. I appreciate all the great care that you have given me over the last few months, and I hope to be there for you as best I can during the now hectic downhill rush to Christmas.

Ro’s Beauty Spot has definitely come out of hibernation and it was really great seeing some clients who haven’t been to the salon in a while, and even better to welcome some brand new ones too….Welcome to my newsletter.

It’s now the time to shake off that winter coat and get them toes out and about. With that said I will be having some great specials on pedicures and waxing this September so keep reading to see what they are.

Spring is a great time to start being healthy, getting the exercise routine back and increasing the water intake.
