What can I do differently for my skin this Winter

Winter is harsh, and often, destructive time for our skins and bodies. There is more bacteria, illness and extreme weather changes, which all have a negative impact on our skins.

We should all increase our vitamin supplement intake to increase our immune systems. Our skins also take an effect, often because we drink less water.

  • Now is the time to add a little something to help keep your skin feeling beautiful.
  • One should exfoliate 2-3 times a week if you currently exfoliating once, especially where skin is dry and flaky.
  • Masking can be changed to a moisturizing/hydrating one to help nourish the skin and can also be increased to 2-3 times a week.
  • Your day/night cream can be changed to a more hydrating and nourishing one.
  • A Vitamin E or Tissue Oil can be applied over your night cream to give you extra nourishment and hydration.
  • Foundation can be changed to a lighter tone to compensate for the lighter complexion one often gets in winter
  • Ampoules can be added on a 3-4 week basis to lighten and brighten the skin
  • Paraffin wax treatments can be done more often to nourish hands, feet, or even the face
  • Annique’s Skin Detox can be applied before your day and night cream to hydrate, fight free radicals, prevent black and white heads and providing a healthy glow
  • Annique’s Revitalising cream can also be used before your day or night cream to add extra nourishment, rejuvenate and plump out sagging skin.

I hope to find you well and rested after these few days of holiday. It is apparent that Winter has definitely arrived and is here to stay! But know that with any winters day there is a warm ehart just waiting to warm you up somewhere nearby!

I wish to thank everyone who supported me during April and the holidays was nice to see all of you and share in your news, special occasions and work stress! I also hope to see everyone who was away to hear about your holiday!

Ihave decided to increase my product items to allow you to get best quality and something different at my salon.

I will be selling:

1. BioSculpture lavender base coats for R30. They help nourish, protect and strengthen the nail and have a beautiful lavender tinge to it so if u wish to just wear this you can.

2. Scented Acetone: R10. A spray pure acetone with a slight scent of cinnamon, mint or tea tree.

3. BioSculpture Top Coat: R40. A high shine top coat to seal in nail varnish and protect and provide lon lasting colour.

4. Cuticle oil: R20. This helps nourish and hydrate the nail and cuticle during the dry witner months

5. Annique Vitamin E Capsules for the Face: R40 for 5. Application twice a week to help nourish and hydrate the skin suring the winter months

6. Annique Derma Bright Capsules for the face: R40 for 4. Once a week application in between facials to help brighten and create even toned, healthy skin.

Annique Face Facts Range contains Organic Green Rooibos extract which is a super Antioxidant. It detoxifies, has anti-inflammatory properties and helps promote cell regeneration.

The Liquid Skin Nutrition (Freshener) contains all the ingredients to promote a clear soft skin, removing impurities, cleanses the pores and hydrates the skins. Contains vitamins A, B, C and E. Liquid Skin N Nutrition is available at R109

Basic Daily Routine
This applies for any Annique Skin Care Routine:

Morning Routine:
Rinse face with Green Tea and Normal Rooibos
Apply Daily Moisturiser
Apply SPF
Spray Freshener

Evening Routine:
Wash the skin with Cleanser (1-2 min gentle wash)
Apply Night cream
Spray Freshener

Weekly Routine: (once a week)
Exfoliate in the evenings after cleansing (2-3 min)
Mask after exfoliating (can apply treatment under mask) (10-15 min)

My first year at Ro’s Beauty Spot – Great Products, Great Clients and Great Service

Where to begin: I started out thinking wow this is a big step, being my own boss, managing a salon and doing the therapy, but a year later its been the most fun I have ever had at work! Yes I miss the chatter of other therapists but I enjoy my own company and I love the company of my clients.
